Diese Veranstaltung ist weniger als Vorlesung sondern eher als Diskussionsgruppe geplant. Ziel ist es, eine gewisse Vertrautheit mit der englischen Sprache zu gewinnen, wobei gleichzeitig Fragestellungen behandelt werden sollen, die nicht direkt fachlicher Natur sind, aber im t�glichen Leben im Studium und danach auftauchen.

Bestimmte Themen werden im Vorlesungsstil behandelt, danach sollen aber ausf�hrliche Gruppendiskussionen stattfinden. Vorlesung und Diskussionen sollen so weit wie m�glich in englischer Sprache durchgef�hrt werden. Eine Liste der bisher geplanten Themen folgt weiter unten.

This course is not planned as a lecture but rather as a discussion group. It is the aim to get more acquainted with the English language, by treating problems which are not strictly of scientific nature but are connected with the daily life in studying and afterwards.

Certain topics are treated in lecture style, but followed by extensive discussions in the group. Lecture and discussions should be in English as far as possible. A list of planned topics follows.
