Finding full texts
What you have also learned in earlier units: how to access e-books and e-journals directly from the catalogue. But what about journal articles found in bibliographic databases or special search engines?
If you use Google Scholar instead of Google, you already have an advantage: this special search engine only searches academic websites for scientific full texts and references from the outset. Some documents are generally freely accessible on the internet in the sense of Open Access .
In databases, there is a link that shows you whether the full text is available from another database in your library. This will be described in more detail in the next tutorial.
