The Chair of Communications Engineering is seeking a motivated student (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) to support research activities related to the 5G RACOM project. We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in Communication Networks, who is interested in contributing to cutting-edge research in the field of 5G technologies.What we offer:

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Implement and test Multipath protocols like MPQUIC and PQUIC.
- Conduct simulations using NS3 to evaluate network performance.
- Perform KPI and QoS measurements in 5G environments.
- Support the research team with documentation and analysis of experimental results.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the planning and execution of project milestones.
What we expect from you:
- Strong knowledge in Networking and Communication Networks.
- Familiarity with network protocols, particularly Multipath protocols, is an advantage.
- Experience with simulation tools like NS3 is desirable.
- An independent and reliable work style.
- Good English skills in both written and spoken.
- Enthusiasm for research and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Working Hours: 20 – 40 hours per month (flexible arrangement)
