Biographical Note: PD Dr. Eckart Voigts-Virchow (born 1964) received his PhD from Giessen University where he held the position of Associate Professor (WissAss). Before joining the staff at Chemnitz as Deputy Chair of English Literature, he taught English Literature and Cultural Studies at the Universities of Madison and Milwaukee/Wisconsin, Frankfurt/Main, and Vienna. He is currently treasurer of CDE: The German Society for Contemporary Theatre and Drama in English.
