Biographical Note: Hans-Joachim Hermes (b. 1945) studied English Language and Literature, Political Science and Sociology at the Georg-August University of Göttingen, and at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität, Münster. He took Staatsexamen in 1970, and his Dr. phil. in 1973. From 1973 to 1993 he worked at the Universitätsbibliothek Münster, and from 1993 to 2001 at the Universitätsbibliothek Chemnitz. His research interests include Shakespeare contemporaries. |
