Important
things to remember

wait
till you got the notification of acceptance and the notification of the
scholarship
·
apply
for a Schengen VISA if neccessary and
·
book
your flight to
·
inform
the organizers where and when you arrive (airport/date/time/flight number) as soon
as possible (e-mail or fax)
·
inform
the organizers if you need transportation from the Airport (Dresden only) to
Chemnitz. We may have limited possibilities to pick you up (we will inform you
in time). If we can not make it, if we miss achother be aware to go by train
· organize the transport from the
airport of arrival to Chemnitz on your own if others than Dresden (by
train)
· transfer the fee (if no full
scholarship is granted) to the following account:

How
to arrive at Chemnitz University of Technology
·
As foreigner you are probably arriving by aeroplane at Frankfurt Airport ,
Munich
Airport,
Berlin
Airport
·
Take the connecting flight to Desden Airport
·
If we have an appointment, we will pick you up at the
airport and take you by bus to Chemnitz
·
If we have no appointment, if we miss eachother, you
go by public transportation (bus) or by taxi (10km) to the main station
(Dresden Hauptbahnhof)
·
Take a ticket
to Chemnitz Main Station (Chemnitz Hauptbahnhof)
·
Get off the Main Station in Chemnitz at a side exit
·
Walk down the street to the bus station
(Schillerplatz; 100m) and take the bus line number 51 (direction Reichenhain)
·
Get off at University (Thühringer Weg; around 3
km)
·
In front of you there is the Central Lecture Hall
where we expect you for the Reception Party

Reception
There is a
Reception Party on 13.September 2009 with some snacks and drinks after a long
journay. It will start at 17:50, although we will be there much earlier to
welcome you (after 14:00).
