it’s official! physical review letters accepted our paper on “imaging single quantum dots in three-dimensional photonic crystals” for publication. within this paper, its shown for the first time, that photonic crystals modify the emission of single quantum dots. light is not anymore emitted omindirectional but in certain well defined directions. this is the way to manipulate light emission of single emitters in tailored dielectric environments.
