Scientific topics:
The symposium is devoted to Finite Elements, including (but not limited to) fast solvers, error estimators, high order methods, parallel implementation.
This year special emphasis is on
- Modern aspects of mixed formulations
(in particular Stokes problem and Mindlin-Reissner plates),
- Discontinuous Galerkin methods.
Other topics are of course warmly welcome.

Contributions:
- Duration: 15, 25 or 40 minutes (plus discussion)
- Overhead projector, VHS videorecorder, and Internet PC can be used.

Submission of abstracts.
We kindly ask to use our template file,
see also our example file,
and to send the abstract to
[..._at_mathematik.tu-chemnitz.de].
This simplifies the production of the Collection of Abstracts
on the Web and in a booklet which will be handed out at the beginning of
the symposium.
