Short curriculum vitae

I hold a BA degree in Linguistics with a focus on theory and methodology of teaching foreign languages from Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, Russia (2010). In 2012, I also acquired an MA degree in Cognitive Linguistics from the same university (PSLU). I was then teaching English to undergraduate students in PSLU from 2011 to 2014. In 2015, I came to Germany to continue studying Linguistics and acquired my second MA degree in English Studies (Applied Linguistics) from the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany (2017). Beside my work at Chemnitz University of Technology, I am currently finishing my PhD project on the psycholinguistic and neurolinguistic aspects of collocation processing at FAU in Erlangen where I am working as a lecturer and research assistant.

Research interests

My current research interests lie in phraseology and syntax. I am particularly interested in developing and using new psycholinguistic methods for studying language processing. My other interests stretch across such fields of linguistics as second language acquisition, corpus linguistics and neurolinguistics..
