Research

The professorship for electrochemical sensors and energy storage conducts interdisziplinary research on advanced materials for energy. One main focus is the electrochemical synthesis of nanomaterials with specific magnetic and catalytic properties. A second emphasis lies on emerging magneto-ionic systems, in which we use electrochemical routes for tunable functional materials as an original approach towards energy efficient electronic and sensing devices.
