In our research, we address practice-relevant topics and combine the strengths of "Cognitive Psychology" with the field of "Human Factors" to achieve a productive transfer of knowledge between basic and applied research.

The professorship explores the interfaces between humans and technology, with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction, Traffic Psychology, and Perception Research. The goal is to deepen the understanding of human interaction with technical systems and to develop practical applications to improve safety and usability.
