Deep Learning for Practitioners
Vorlesung: | 02./16./23.05.2025, 06./13.06.2025 and 04.07.2025 | Friday 9.30. Online | (J. Bergelt) |
General Information
The Microcredential teaches students and professionals practice-oriented skills in the field of artificial intelligence, especially in deep learning. In theoretical modules, participants learn the basics of deep learning, which they then apply in projects on self-supervised learning and transformer architectures. The projects build on each other successively so that a gradual increase in the complexity of both the models and the problems can be achieved. Concrete solutions for real use cases are developed in small groups, supported by collaboration with a regional technology company. Flexibly combinable online learning modules and supervised project phases enable flexible integration into studies or work.
The course is open to Bachelor's and Master's level students as well as company employees. Nevertheless, good math and Python programming skills are required. The course language is English. Active participation is mandatory.
