Interaction Design of a Collaborative Welding Process
In the context of Industry 5.0, the focus is on collaboration between humans and robots. A contribution is to be made to this with the interaction design of a collaborative welding process. The aim of the work is to design an interaction where the robot assists humans in welding processes. The robot is to hold the component while the human carries out/suggests the welding process. This division is intended to make the best possible use of the strengths of humans and robots. The human can react to changing material qualities and the robot takes over the ergonomic holding of the object. The constraints of the welding process must also be taken into account. Students can develop freely and contribute their own ideas during implementation. The robot control is provided by the professorship and is not a mandatory part of the work. For the interaction design, a robot workstation with camera, table projection, microphone and loudspeakers is available. It can also be individually adapted.
