01.07.2018 The Rector of the Technical University Chemnitz, Prof. Dr. Gerd Strohmeier, appoints Prof. Dr.-Ing. Markus Golder for the Professorship of Conveying Engineering and Materials Handling.
01.10.2017 Dr.-Ing. Jens Sumpf becomes the provisional head of the professorship and represents the chair externally until the appointment procedure has been completed.
01.10.2017 The former professor Prof. Klaus Nendel, who has contributed significantly to the successful development of the professorship in teaching and research for more than 25 years, is retired.
01.03.2012 Endowment Professorship of Technical Textiles - Textile Machine Elements takes up its activities within the InnoProfile Transfer Project of the BMBF; Dr.-Ing. Markus Michael becomes head of the Endowment Professorship.
