Institute for Management and Factory Systems

The Institute of Industrial Management and Factory Systems (IBF) is an important part of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The Institute includes the Chair of Ergonomics and Innovation Management and the Chair of Factory Planning and Intralogistics.

Teaching and research at the IBF are characterised by interdisciplinary cooperation across professorships. The focal points include the planning, design, operation and control of industrial and factory systems as well as the ergonomic design of work processes, work equipment and products.

Professorship Ergonomics and Innovation Management

Univ.-Prof. Dr. habil. Angelika C. Bullinger-Hoffmann heads the professorship.

She is the managing director of the institute.
