Schweißfachingenieur

The qualification as a welding engineer (SFI) is an additional education to the Bachelor's, Master's or Diploma degrees. The education is provided by the German Association for Welding and Allied Processes e.V. (DVS)
We offer a course of study in cooperation with the SLV Halle and the TU Dresden.
The course consists of 3 parts:
- Part 1 - Technical basics (3 weeks)
- Part 2 - Practical basics (2 weeks)
- Part 3 - Main course (9 weeks)

Requirements for participation are:
- Certificate of the acquisition of welding knowledge in the course of studies
- Completion of all examinations in the degree programme, except for the final thesis
- Enrolment as a student
