Professur EXSE
Unser Arbeitsgebiet ist die Optoelektronik, spezialisiert auf spektroskopische Untersuchung der physikalischen Eigenschaften von Halbleiter-Bauelementen. Bei Leuchtdioden (LEDs) unterstützen wir die Entwicklung hocheffizienter Lichtquellen im sichtbaren und ultravioletten Spektralbereich. Unsere Expertise bei Laserdioden ist die Charakterisierung und Simulation der dynamischen Eigenschaften. Unsere Forschungsaktivitäten entstehen im Kontext mit Anwendungen in der Sensorik, Medizin, Allgemeinbeleuchtung und Automobilindustrie.

IXth Winter Workshop Kalatowki 2025
In the last week of March, the IX Winter Workshop took place in Kalatowki, Poland. This workshop is organized by the Institute of High Pressure Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and was attended by various groups from Poland, Germany and Finland. During the workshop there were many exciting presentations and detailed discussions about AlInGaN semiconductor structures, especially in the field of light emitters. Two students from our group and Prof. Schwarz were participating.

Visit to Warschau, Februar 2025
In the last week of February, Shemshat and Jannina visited our project partners at the Institute of High Pressure Physics, Polish Academy of Science (IHPP PAS) in Warsaw. They were given an insight into parts of the work at the institute and were also able to observe the processes themselves. Of course, this also included a visit to the clean room (see photo).

Projektvorstellungen 2025
Am 11. Februar 2025 haben die Masterstudenten ihre Projekte aus dem Modul Physik und Sensorik präsentiert. Im Rahmen des Moduls sollten sie einen Prototypen zu einem sensorgesteuerten System entwickeln. Auch in diesem Jahr gab es viele verschiedenen Projektideen von Sensorsystem für sportliche Aktivitäten bis hin zu SmartCups.
