The symposium will be held at the Institute of Physics of TU Chemnitz on the University site Raichenhainer Straße which is located in the south of the city of Chemnitz. A map of the area is shown below.

Located in the northern foothills of the Ore Mountains, Chemnitz with its population close to 250,000 people is the third largest city of the Free State of Saxony and offers all aspects of modern life in a medium sized city. Chemnitz can be reached by train from various directions. The closest airports are located in Leipzig (LEJ, distance approx. 110 km) and Dresden (DRS, distance approx. 80 km). Both airports connect also to major interational hubs.
