The English drama group at the university. It started with Monty Python sketches a few years ago and moved on to such ambitious projects as Thornton Wilder's The Skin of Our Teeth (1996), Brian Friel's The Loves of Cass McGuire (1996) and Tennessee Williams' The Milktrain Doesn't Stop Here Anymore (1997). The cast is usually a changing international mix of native Germans and English speakers, so it is a good place to get into contact with folks. Rehearsals usually take place at the English Club. The last few productions, which included Oscar Wilde's
The Importance of Being Earnest (1999) and Alan Ayckbourn's Bedroomfarce (1999) were directed by Grainné McGuinness and performed at the Chemnitz VOXXX.
