Student Association Events
As the Student Association, we offer you various events throughout the year to provide interesting insights beyond your studies and opportunities for socializing with your fellow students in a cozy setting. This includes:
- Seminars, where you can explore topics from different areas, such as "Taxes during and after studies" or "DIN standards."
- Excursions, where you can gather impressions from various companies and other cities.
- Events for fun and relaxation, such as sports activities like volleyball or barbecue evenings.

Dear student,
Welcome to the TU Chemnitz. You have made a good decision by choosing an electrical engineering degree course!
Many of us were in your position at the beginning of our studies: New place to live, new people, lots of decision-making opportunities/freedoms(/sometimes also duties).
To make it easier for you to start your studies, we offer you an orientation week. Here you will get to know the TU, the city of Chemnitz and your fellow students better at various events. It is not uncommon for the first friendships to develop.
We also help you to organize your studies and give you an insight into everyday university life.
