Binding Regulation of Framework Code Signed
Prof. Dr. Gerd Strohmeier, President of Chemnitz University of Technology, and Dr. Thomas Raschke, Chairman of the Staff Council, signed the “Binding Regulation of the Framework Code Regarding the Management of Fixed-Term Employment and the Promotion of Career Opportunities at Higher Education Institutions in the Free State of Saxony” on July 26, 2018. The provisions in the Framework Code will now be implemented according to the newly instated binding regulation.
“In particular, I would like to thank Dr. Raschke as well as the entire Staff Council for their close and constructive cooperation. I am pleased that we have now signed the binding regulation,” announced the University President. Instating a binding regulation is stipulated by the Framework Code and is obligatory for the continued receipt of funding from the “Gute Lehre – Starke Mitte” program.
