The Database Information System - Your way to the suitable database
There are a lot of databases that are either freely available on the web or licensed by your University Library. And how do you find the right database? The Database Information System (DBIS) will help you find the right database.
Here you can search for the names of the databases (not IN databases). You have different options:
- on the DBIS homepage you can search for your subject in the subject overview and all relevant databases will then be displayed.
- However, you also have the option of displaying all listed databases in alphabetical order.
- If you already know which database you would like to work with, you can use the search slot of the Simple Search.
- There is also an advanced search in DBIS. In the search mask, you can filter out the databases that match your search criteria.
