Web File Manager (WFM)

Direct access to your HOME directory and other data within the Network File System AFS via web browser. Use this way to access if

  • you only need occasional access,
  • you cannot install any software on the PC you are using (e.g. in internet cafés) or
  • only web access is possible due to firewall settings.

The Web File Manager WFM is a file browser in a web browser. You can use it to manage your folders in Chemnitz University of Technology's AFS file system and upload, download, view, change or delete files. You can also access the data via smartphone or laptop. WFM also supports the maintenance of websites on the central web servers www.tu-chemnitz.de and www-user.tu-chemnitz.de.

Since 2024, access is only possible from the Chemnitz University of Technology campus network. External users must log in to the VPN.
