Body Attached Wireless Sensor Networks
Project Overview
The need of delivering a high performance medical care for the rapidly growing population of elderly and disable persons while reducing the healthcare costs and improving medical amenities is increasingly required. The number of patients with motor disabilities is evolving and reached e. g. 42% of disabled people in 2016 in Tunisia. One promising solution for ambient assisted living and technical assistance for persons in general is the integration of wireless sensors network in healthcare system, which allows them to get assistance and monitoring in real-time. The project aims not only to provide new solutions for healthcare and ambient assisted living, but also engaging young scientist and engineering students in the personal, social and even economic development activities for improving their chances for employability.Duration: 01.04.2019 - 31.12.2019
