Promotion of Higher Education in Biomedical Engineering (PROFILE)
Project Overview
The project PROFILE aims to improve the qualification of students following the actual needs of the industry to meet the job market requirement in the biomedical engineering field in Jordan. The planned education and training programs' strong practical and theoretical relevance aims to improve employability in local industry in the mid-and long-term by supporting young engineers to get better professional skills and know-how during their studies to get better prepared for professional life.
In parallel, the project aims to support young graduates, mainly master's and Ph.D. students, by promoting applied research in topics related to the local context and allowing them to perform research and development activities during research stays in TUC.
A specific aim of the project will focus on building strong cooperation between the Jordanian "JUST" partner and the German partner "TUC" in the field of the Internet of Things, wearable biomedical systems, embedded systems, biomedical sensors, and signal processing.
