Information regarding start of winter semester 2024/2025

Dear international students,
we're currently planning something to offer you a more tailored start into your studies at our university. The plans are quite vague though and probably not within the regular orientation week.
For this first week we recommend attending the programme by the International Office (IUZ) specifically for international students. For more information on their program in English please check their website. Noneteheless you're also welcome to join our regular orientation week programme, if your German language skills are well enough to understand and communicate with your fellow students. If so, please have a look onto the German version for further information.

General hints

If you plan to do language courses in the first semester, have a look into the information by the Foreign Language Centre.
When you get the immatriculation documents, there shold be a information sheet from the TUC University Computer Centre. With the provided service codes you're able to activate you account. Further information can be found on their website.
We strongly recommend to have a look into your study documents in beforehand, since it might be difficult to understand in some cases. If you have questions, feel free to contact us or attend the question session on Friday, 11th Oct from 10 am to 2 pm.

The orientation week is a voluntary offer. If you want to come later, please let us know so that you can find us ( fsrif-owoche@…). We start on Monday in the "Orangerie". Although registration in advance is not compulsory, it helps us immensely with the organisation. The registration tool will be activated in due course.
