Topic
The “Kompetenzzentrum Usability für den Mittelstand” project (Centre of competence for small and medium enterprises) supports both software developers and operators in applying usability criteria. It addresses the awareness for usability issues during the whole process of product development and selection. Current evaluation methods lack a special focus on the scope of complex software and therefore user-centred development is hard to achieve in an efficient way. To reduce the effort which is necessary to test very complex software applications new evaluation tools shall be designed and tested.
Three industry partners support the development of new evaluation methods within this project: Delta Barth Systemhaus GmbH, TecArt GmbH and CAAPcore GmbH. There will be services and training offered for other software developers and operators.
