Technology is a cultural achievement that is developed and utilised by people for people. It serves a variety of purposes - be it for people's individual goals, for common organisational goals or for interpersonal exchange and the exploration of the world. Technology is closely linked to human society, has an impact on it and changes our world. Chemnitz University of Technology is strongly characterised by its core competence of people and technology. The cross-faculty research centre ‘Humans and Technology’ investigates the central and future-oriented significance of the human factor in its interaction with the technology factor. The centre pools the research knowledge of various disciplines and promotes interdisciplinary exchange. We support our members and research partners in developing innovative project ideas and turning them into research proposals. Our aim is to increase the chances of success in acquiring third-party funding and to promote long-term research collaborations. We are also happy to assist you with administrative tasks to give you more time for your core tasks in research and teaching.
