Requirements: normally Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering or similar degree programs; German Language Examination for University Entrance (DSH) or equivalent for applicants from abroad. No admission restrictions!
Standard period of study : 4 terms
Course Language:  German
Degree: Master of Science (M.Sc.)
Starting of the course: usually winter term
Deadlines: All deadlines for applications are defined by Technische Universität Chemnitz.
This study program is jointly offered with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.

Thanks to the combination of aspects of micro and sensor technology, computer science and measurement data analysis as well as medicine, the Master degree program in Biomedical Engineering meets the requirements for engineers to develop innovative and future-oriented medical equipment. The interdisciplinary cross-linking of electrical engineering with computer science accompanied by the teaching of appropriate basic knowledge in medicine and the application of medical equipment makes this degree program unique in Germany.
