Chemnitz - RICAM Symposium on Inverse Problems
Goal:
Our symposium brought together experts from the Austrian, German and international 'Inverse Problems Community' and young scientists.
The focus was on ill-posedness phenomena, regularization theory and practice and on the analytical,
numerical and stochastic treatment of applied inverse problems from natural sciences, engineering and finance.
In 2009 the symposium was held at the Johann Radon Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics (RICAM) in Linz within the Mini Special Semester on Inverse Problems (May 18-July 15, 2009). The Chemnitz research group highly appreciates the kind hospitality in Linz and thanks to RICAM for technical and financial support.
Announcement:
The next Symposium will take place on September 23 and 24, 2010 at Chemnitz University of Technology.
