Proceedings

The proceedings of the IWOTA 2017 will be published with Birkhäuser as a volume of the renowned book series “Operator Theory: Advances and Applications”. Unlike in previous years, our goal is to have the proceedings published one year after the conference. Consequently, the
deadline for submissions is November 1, 2017.

Clearly, this early deadline causes all potential authors to think about possible contributions and perhaps also to start writing concrete drafts well in advance. However, we think these efforts are rewarded by the faster publication.

We plan four months for the refereeing process and for possible revisions, and we have to send the materials to Birkhäuser on February 28, 2018.

All speakers of the IWOTA 2017 are invited to contribute papers to the proceedings. The contribution may be well written surveys or expository papers as well as original research papers. As we are trying to publish the proceedings within one year, it will pay to submit even papers on “hot topics”.

For preparing your manuscript, please use the Birkhäuser style files. Submissions must be sent in time to iwota2017@…. You will receive a notification on arrival.

We promised you to publish the conference proceedings within one year. You all contributed to the volume and took care for the demanding deadlines that are connected with this aim. Now we hold the result in our hands. Promise kept!

At the OT series' website you can see the finished book with all the wonderful papers. Our thanks go to all authors for providing the contents of this beautiful volume. We also thank Birkhäuser for making the expedited publishing possible on their side. Just about half a year for review and print is a record!
