Digital Center links the real and digital worlds

In the Digital Center, researchers and students have access to software and hardware systems for planning, modeling, simulation and visualization of production systems. Market-leading software solutions from Dassault Systems, Siemens PLM (Technomatix), Autodesk, Nvidia and others are available. In addition, numerous open source software systems and prototypical in-house developments are used. In our "hybrid factory" the digital and the real factory can be combined very vividly by means of full-surface wall and floor projections.

The experimental and digital factory is an excellent test environment for suppliers, service providers and users. It supports the exchange of knowledge, experience and technology between research and business practice.
