Successfully completed doctorate
On 03.07.2018, Fabian Streb defended his dissertation thesis entitled „Novel materials for heat dissipation in semiconductor technologies“ under the supervision of Prof. Lampke. In his paper, Dr. Streb systematically presents approaches and results for improving heat management in power electronic substrates and substrate carriers. Evaluating the economic boundary conditions of the work done during this industrial activity of Dr. Streb, a novel anisotropic fibre reinforcement of the heat sink emerged as an outstanding variant. The fibre inserts in the heat sink serve equally well for rapid, uniform heat distribution in the heat sink and heat dissipation into the cooling circuit.
