Transdisciplinary Dialogue „Humans, Technology and AI“
The 2nd Transdisciplinary Dialogue „Humans, Technology and AI“ already took place on 15.11.2021. Two short lectures by Dr Rudolf Seising (Deutsches Museum Munich) and Dr Uwe Haas (Roboconsult Munich) provided impulses for the subsequent discussion of the approx. 80 participants. The transdisciplinary dialogue is organised and hosted by the Chair of General Psychology I and Human Factors and the Chair of WOT.
Dealing with the societal challenges in the field of „Smart Industry“ requires a broad transdisciplinary cooperation of different disciplines, research institutions and industry partners. In the current transdisciplinary dialogue, the (forgotten) history of AI was presented by Dr Rudolf Seising. Dr. Uwe Haas then showed perspectives of AI for education and research using the example of robotics. Finally, in a stimulating discussion, individual points were taken up and examined in more detail by the speakers and guests.
The event series „Transdisciplinary Dialogue: Human, Technology and AI“ illuminates the interaction of human, technology and artificial intelligence (AI) from the different perspectives of the disciplines. In short lectures, invited speakers address the humanities, social sciences and humanities as well as STEM-oriented perspectives and provide impulses on concrete topics for the subsequent discussion.
