Mobile measurement technology to record the behavior of chassis components, assemblies and entire vehicles in a wide variety of driving dynamics situations.

Individual components:

Data logger: Racelogic VBox 3i

  • connection for GPS/GLONASS antennas
  • 4 x analog input (24 bit, + - 50 V)
  • 1 x connection for event trigger (resolution: 10 ns)
  • 2 x CAN bus interface
  • 1 x serial interface (RS 232)
  • 1 x USB interface
  • 1 x connection for IMU
  • data storage on memory card (measurement preconfigured by PC or mobile input/control device)
  • 2 x analog output (16 bit)
  • 2 x digital output
  • recording rate up to 100 Hz (individual connections up to 400 Hz)

IMU (Inertial Mesurement Unit):

  • 3 x rotation rate sensor (+ - 450 °/s)
  • 3 x acceleration sensor (+ - 5 g)

Antennas

  • 1 x GPS antenna
  • 1 x GLONASS antenna

Analog/CAN converter (2 pieces):

  • 8 x analog input
  • 2 x CAN output
  • for connecting the acceleration and displacement sensors to the Racelogic VBox 3i

Displacement sensors (2 pieces):

  • measurable length: 0 - 150 mm
  • LVDT
  • resolution: < 0,01 mm

Accelerometers (4 pieces):

  • measurable accelerations: +- 200 g
  • 3 measuring axes
  • linearity error: <1% FS
