Current research project

The focus in this research field is on the analysis, characterization and development of vehicle body vibration dampers (including active systems) with the aim of optimizing properties with regard to responsiveness (dampfer friction) and environmental compatibility. In cooperation with materials scientists, results of basic research in the field of lightweight material construction should be taken into account and enable significant weight reduction on chassis components.
