Research

The Professorship Vehicle System Design (FSD) focuses on teaching and research in the field of automotive technology, especially in the areas of driving dynamics and brake technology for single and double-track vehicles. The high degree of networking of the chassis technology with increasing actuator technology will also be reflected in the on-board electrical systems area from 2019.

Since 2018, the "Vehicle Concepts" area has been established with interfaces to other key disciplines of the faculty.
