The project “Didaktische Orientierung für digitales Feedback (Pedagogical guidance for using digital feedback): Digital Feedback Map (DFM)” has been funded by the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre (09/2022-11/2023). It aimed at developing a Digital Feedback Map that teachers and students can use to learn more about different digital feedback methods and to support them in their implementation.

The English version of the Digital Feedback Map is accessible here: https://tinyurl.com/DigitalFeedbackOverview. It describes various digital feedback methods and incorporates numerous sample tasks, manuals and video tutorials for different pedagogical contexts.

Subsequently, a German version of the Digital Feedback Map has been created as part of the project "Transfer transdisziplinär: Digitaler Feedbackdialog zur Unterstützung von Lehr- und Lernprozessen in den Geistes- und Naturwissenschaften", funded by the SMWK (04/2024-11/2024). It is freely available via this link: https://tinyurl.com/DigitalesFeedbackDT

A short introductory video about the project aims can be accessed here:

Further Project Outcomes:

As an important discussion platform and dissemination event, an interdisciplinary and international conference was held in June 2023. Visit the conference website for further details.

Results from the conference and from the DFM project are published in the following book:

Schluer, J. (ed.) (2024). Digital Feedback in Higher Education: Teaching Practices, Student Voices, and Research Findings. Transcript. [open access]

Furthermore, Jun.-Prof. Dr. Jennifer Schluer and her team members as well as project partners offer practical workshops about the pedagogical design of feedback processes and the use of digital feedback methods. You can register for the most recent workshop on the HDS website. If you are interested in additional workshops, please read this flyer in English or German and contact tesol[at]phil.tu-chemnitz.de.

Moreover, Jun.-Prof. Dr. Jennifer Schluer has created another online platform called the "Interactive Feedback Taxonomy", which supports teachers in the pedagogical (re-)design of feedback activities. It is based on the scoping review conducted by Brück-Hübner & Schluer (2023) and Schluer & Brück-Hübner (2024), respectively. For a brief overview, you can access posters about the feedback taxonomy in English and in German. The online platform is available in both English (https://tinyurl.com/FeedbackTaxonomyEN) and German (https://tinyurl.com/FeedbackTaxonomieDT) via the provided links.

Further project results will be added and linked on this website as soon as they are available.
