Aravindan Joseph Benjamin, an audio engineer by specialty, graduated from the Technical University of Ilmenau in the state of Thuringia. His areas of expertise include: psychoacoustics, head-tracking-based dynamic binaural auralization of virtual room acoustics, algorithms for the simulation of virtual room acoustics, audio coding and compression, and electroacoustics. Prior to joining the Cognitive Systems Lab at the Faculty of Sciences of Chemnitz University of Technology, Mr. Benjamin was engaged in a state-funded project on the novel, fully printed paper loudspeakers at the neighboring print and media technologies department belonging to the faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
