Makerbot Z18
The Makerbot Z18 is a 3D printer mainly used with Polyactid Acid (PLA) at the ALF professorship to create concept models. It has a large installation space of 30.0 x 30.5 x 45.7 cm, which can also be viewed at any time by camera.
The printing technology is fused deposition modeling with a layer resolution of 100 microns.
The ambient temperature during printing is between 15 °C and 24 °C. The temperature at the injector for printing PLA must be between 190 °C and 210 °C.
