Calibration gas generator

The "HovaCAL N 1464-SP" is an apparatus for the exact mixing and dilution of test gases, the evaporation of aqueous solutions and the humidification of the present gas mixture.

The requirements therefor are:

• Total flow and moisture content variable to a maximum of 2 Nl/min, 0-100 rh%, based on a gas temperature between 25°C and 90°C,
• gas carrier and diluation gas, like hydrogen, nitrogen, instrumental air, which is dried, dust-free and oil-free. However, these cannot be used at the same time.

Up to 9 gases can be mixed, humidified and charged with the vaporous components.

The concentrations of the gaseous components of the test gases can be set as follows:

1. CO: 1 – 300 ppm
2. SO₂: 1- 300 ppm
3. CH₄: 1- 300 ppm
4. CO₂: 1 – 30 000 ppm
5. NOx: 1 – 30 000 ppm
6. Ar: 1 – 5 Vol.%
7. O₂: 1 – 5 Vol.%
8. N₂: 1 – 5 Vol.%.

The following absorbed aqueous solutions can be vaporized:

1. NH₃
2. CH₂O₂.
