As the discussion about sustainability, scarce resources and environmental friendliness gains more and more importance in the transport sector, the automotive sector is continuously met with new challenges regarding propulsion technology. The automobile industry constantly searches for new, innovative drive concepts, which fulfill the desire for the usual mobility with its performance and comfort features on the one hand, and meet the demands of highest efficiency and lowest emission. These are the aims of the Department of Advanced Powertrains as well.
Now and in the future, there will be an increasing need for young, talented people who are able to develop creative solutions based in their technical expertise. Thus, knowledge is becoming a central factor for success. We want to prepare you, the engineers of tomorrow, for this at Chemnitz University of Technology.
