Stay Active While Working from Home

Centre for Sports and Health Promotion at Chemnitz University of Technology has some suggestions for activities at home or in the office

Coronavirus has tied many to their homes.  But even with limited freedom of movement, it is important to remain active and live a healthy lifestyle.  The Centre for Sports and Health Promotion (ZfSG) at Chemnitz University of Technology, together with several partners, has published a few suggestions to increase activity while working from home or at the office.

"In addition to a collection of exercises for a movement break, there are also short videos from ProjecDo," reports Dr. Kristin Röhr, the director of the ZfSG. She says that ProjecDo is already known at Chemnitz University of Technology from nutrition workshops, which were published  together with Techniker Krankenkasse, the university’s health partner. In addition, the fitness app "Gettoworkout" is available free of charge for one month to students and staff at Chemnitz University of Technology.  And if you want to know what colleagues from Leipzig University of Applied Sciences are doing today, you can watch a short video and find out.
