Why should Chemnitz be the Capital of Culture 2025? International students and researchers give answers in the video.

Chemnitz wants to become European Capital of Culture 2025 and we currently find ourselves in the critical phase. After the submission of the second application book (Bid Book II) on 21 September 2020, the jury will get an immediate impression of the city and its initiatives in the context of the application in a digital meeting and live broadcast on 22 October 2020. The decision will be made on 28 October. Chemnitz University of Technology expressly supports the application, among other things with a video clip in which students and researchers at Chemnitz University of Technology from Albania, Bulgaria, France, and the Czech Republic talk about why Chemnitz should receive the title.
The university video clip on the Capital of Culture application is available on the TU Chemnitz YouTube channel.
In three additional video clips, students formulate their wishes and goals with regard to the application for the Capital of Culture. The videos are also available on the TU Chemnitz YouTube channel and were created during a workshop meeting in July 2020 with the slogan "Playground - What does your future in Chemnitz look like?”
