As in the previous year, students, graduates, and members of the Faculty of Humanities are also welcome.
Get to know regional companies daily from 4 pm
All participants can get to know attractive regional companies daily starting at 4 pm. Various formats such as panel discussions, specialist lectures, and workshops are offered. In addition, there is an opportunity for individual networking with personnel managers of the respective companies. The Career Days 2020 will be rounded off by a workshop on the topic of job search on Friday, 27 November. The workshop will be held bilingually in German and English.
Studi Meets Praxis
On 23 November 2020, the organization team at Chemnitz University of Technology, consisting of the Chemnitz Career Service, the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at Chemnitz University of Technology, and the university project TU4U, invite you to the second Career Info Day at the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences from 4 to 6:30 pm. The focus is on the interactive program called Studi Meets Praxis (German). This year, graduates from the applied movement sciences, psychology, and sociology programs will report on their everyday life and career.
In addition, representatives from companies and institutions will be present in digital spaces to get in touch with interested students and exchange information about internships or jobs. Workshops on career entry help with professional orientation or give tips on the best possible and individual design of application documents. Registration for individual program items or the entire event is now possible via Opal (German).
Career Information Day at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration
On November 26 - also under the direction of Chemnitz University of Technology - a career information day will take place at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Just like at the start of Career Days, graduates will report on their career entry in a podium discussion.
As on all other days, numerous companies will be available for discussions. Likewise, different short workshops that help students prepare for professional life will be offered.
