Digital Support for International Students
Subject mentors support international students of Chemnitz University of Technology from German-taught bachelor degree programs
Many international students are confronted with various challenges, especially at the beginning of their studies at a German university. This applies to scheduling, the (digital) search for a room and even attending the first events. Through the model project “TUCinterdigital” of the International Office of Chemnitz University of Technology, international students in German-taught degree programs at Chemnitz University of Technology now have the opportunity to receive digital support for questions regarding study organization and the study process. Support is provided by experienced student subject mentors via e-mail, a matrix chat and at weekly tutorials via BigBlueButton.
The subject mentors are available at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and at the Faculty of Humanities at Chemnitz University of Technology.
