Making Chemnitz University of Technology a Creative Experience
The International Office of Chemnitz University of Technology is looking for interested parties for the digital campus replica
With the initiative TUCcraft, the International Office of Chemnitz University of Technology wants to digitally recreate the university campus with the associated buildings. For the project, students, researchers and internationals are to come together in a creative way. The Lego-like program Minecraft will be used as the software basis.
TUCcraft is based on the project Build the Earth, in which people from all countries rebuild the earth. "With TUCcraft, we have developed a new format with which we want to enable students and employees to get to know Chemnitz University of Technology in a digital setting. For this, we are currently looking for fellow campaigners who would like to support us," says Jennifer Bosniatzki from the International Office, who is in charge of the TUCcraft project. In addition, Bosniatzki emphasizes the advantages of participating: "The project is an excellent way to get together with students and employees of the university and to creatively engage with Chemnitz University of Technology."
Communication within the framework of TUCcraft runs via a specially created Discord server. Participants can expect exciting events and a university-wide community of players.
