Human Movement Science is the foundation of any involvement with sports and fitness - and thus the foundation of a wide variety of career opportunities in these fields. The prerequisite for admission to the study program is, among other things, passing a sports aptitude test. The Institute of Human Movement Science and Health at Chemnitz University of Technology is aware that the past few months and the associated nationwide Corona-related restrictions may have made planning with regard to future studies more difficult. Therefore, the institute offers high school graduates and all prospective students another date for the sports aptitude test. The test will take place on July 14, 2022, starting at 9:00 a.m. in the sports hall of Chemnitz University of Technology at Thüringer Weg 11.
The fact that Human Movement Science at Chemnitz University of Technology enjoys an excellent reputation and offers study, teaching and research at the highest level is shown by the recently released ARTE documentary Gehen - Wundermittel für Körper und Seele (Walking - Miracle Cure for Body and Soul) with a look into the gait analysis laboratory of Chemnitz University of Technology with its interactive real-time virtual reality environment. This is also shown by the top athletes such as professional mountaineer Jost Kobusch studying in the four Human Movement Science programs.
