5.000 Dollar for international network projects
International network AC21 calls again for proposals within the competition “Special Project Fund”
The international university network “Academic Consortium for the 21st Century” (AC21), where Technische Universität Chemnitz counts among the leading members, calls annually for proposals within a competition for funding of two projects between AC21-member universities by up to 5.000 Dollar since 2008. The objective of the funded projects should be to further deepen the co-operation between the partners of the consortium.
For this reason, one of the main preconditions for participating at the competition is the inclusion of at least three AC21-member universities from two different countries. The funding is dedicated to innovative projects in education and research which are jointly organized and implemented by the project partners and which address to members of AC21 as well as to the broad public, for example scientific symposia.
Applications for project funding can be filed within the period from 01.11.2014 to 31.01.2015 via the AC21-coordinator of the university (at Technische Universität Chemnitz: Katrin Schulz, phone: 0371 531-12001, Email: katrin.schulz@hrz.tu-chemnitz.de). Application forms may be downloaded by using the following link: https://www.tu-chemnitz.de/international/vernetzung/ac21/SPF2015_Antragsformular.docx.
The selected projects will be announced by the AC21 General Secretariat probably in April 2015. For further information you are welcome to visit the respective website (https://www.tu-chemnitz.de/international/vernetzung/ac21/funding.html.en) and to address to Katrin Schulz as well as to the Head of the International Office, Dr. Wolfgang Lambrecht (phone: 0371 531-35679, Email: wolfgang.lambrecht@iuz.tu-chemnitz.de), who are voluntarily at your disposal.
All scientists of Technische Universität Chemnitz are cordially invited to engage within the competition by innovative projects and to contribute to the further enhancement of the international attractiveness and visibility of the university.
