Julie is a trained social anthropologist (PhD, HU Berlin, 2019) specialising in science and technology studies with a focus on method and methodics in the field of (participatory) ethnography to link everyday technologies and everyday knowledge. She currently holds a split position as scientific coordinator of the conference series PartWiss, which connects participatory researchers across disciplines, and as a postdoctoral researcher conducting research on participatory methods in (STS research) practice.

 

Julie ist promovierte Sozialanthropologin (HU Berlin, 2019) mit einem Schwerpunkt auf science and technology studies, Methodenenreflexion im Bereich (partizipativer) Ethnografie zur Verknüpfung von Alltagstechnologien und Alltagswissen. Sie ist als wissenschaftliche Koordinatorin für die Konzeption und Durchführung der Konferenzreihe PartWiss – Partizipation in der Wissenschaft zur Stärkung und Vernetzung partizipativ forschender Wissenschaftler:innen tätig und forscht außerdem mit und über ethnographische und partizipative Methodenpraxis in den STS.
